Study on the benefits of Giant LED Screens in shops and retail stores in Mexico.
As human beings evolve, they diversify their demand for products and services, thereby forcing competition between brands to multiply and the race to achieve public interest to become increasingly sophisticated. Giant advertising screens are increasingly used in retail stores to influence the consumer. But how much does it work?
The complexity of a social environment is proportional to its need to advance in science and technology; promotional communication does not escape this phenomenon.
As you know, at iLED Display México México we manufacture giant LED screens for multiple purposes and it has come to our attention that in recent years some retail customers and retail markets such as Walmart México, Chedraui, Cotsco, and Soriana are increasingly using these screens throughout their stores, with the aim of encouraging consumers to buy their products.
Do screens influence shopping centers yes or no? How much?
Given this, we consider the possibility that the placement of giant advertising screens within points of sale can be an objectively effective and avant-garde alternative to promote the increase in the acquisition of merchandise and services.

For this reason, before taking it for granted, from iLED Display México México we carried out a study to find out how much this possibility is fulfilled and, if so, obtain a measurement of specific results that proves that the use of giant advertising screens is an excellent response. to the promotional technology needs described above.
Study on the influence of screens
We placed giant LED screens in more than 50 stores and businesses throughout Mexico, evaluating the influence of the devices through 3 areas:
The changes in the average ticket of the departments where the giant advertising screens were placed.
The relationship between the size of the screens and the variation in the sales trend within the departments where the experiment was carried out.
Differences in the movement of goods between new brands and mature brands in the same market category.
For this study, we considered the types of retail outlets that are most easily identified: malls, department stores, supermarkets, convenience stores, etc.; and we use giant screens of different sizes, depending on the distance between them and the promotional opportunity zone of each place, to ensure the individual and collective prominence of the devices in their proper measure.
Effective sales with giant LED screens
One of the main premises that we have at iLED Display México México, based on our experience, is that the main phenomena of the immediate consumer market are perfectly represented in the category of detergents, so for the third item, we project on the screens a rotation of ads for an emerging brand and a mature brand in that category, to encourage consumers to buy them and try to increase their sales.
As manufacturers of giant LED screens, we know that, up to now, only this type of screen fully meets the graphic projection requirements of advertisers, since it avoids visual obstacles that other screens cannot, such as reflections. of light, color profiles, luminosity, definition, presence and durability. So any screen that is not LED used for advertising at the point of sale, in most cases it will only be a wasted area (communication blind zone).
Therefore, this study used only giant advertising screens with LED technology.
Results and conclusion of the study
The average ticket increased in all the departments where the giant advertising screens were placed (the minimum increase was 61.3% and the maximum was 96.5%). Thus, you can realize that the presence of giant advertising screens produces a direct boost in your sales.
The departments where the largest screens were sold up to 13,160 product units more than those homologous departments where the smallest ones were located. With these data we can verify that the size of the screens directly influences the level at which sales increase. In the comparison of detergent sales between the new brand and the mature brand, both benefited and the mature brand was more favored by a minimal difference (2.9%).
In addition to the findings that we have explained to you in the original sections of this study, we discovered that those customers of iLED Display México México who sell advertising on giant screens within their stores increased the monetization of said screens. In those cases, your screens end up practically paying for themselves in a relatively short period of time. In conclusion, we have verified that the use of giant LED screens in points of sale produces a significant increase in sales of commercial stores, retailers and the retail market.
